A gauge is a helpful device use in measuring or testing instrument.  Typically we can find it in a boat, car or any type of vehicles. It is use to determine the height of the motor without looking back, allowing the driver to maintain a forward view at all times. When use it in a boat, the gauge indicates the presence or the quantity level of water in the sea.  The measurement of water level is really important. It can help you identify what speed to maintain for your safety.
There are several kind of gauges to buy.  In fact MagemarineStore sells different gauges for your boat. We have this gauge kit 6077 for CMC jack plates. Another one is the conversion gauge kit 51207 for CMC PT-130 tilt trim units use only not for PT-35 units. Its sending unit is totally fastened and water resistant, which removes any moisture problems. The up down toggle switch of this gauge is standard equipment. To have a sealed, drip proof and mounted in the dash boat, you must have this water pressure gauge 20320. Usually the maximum engine height is determined by the hole slot and engine water pressure at top end speed. If the engine is adjusted too high there will be loss of water pressure to the engine at top end speed/or the prop will cavitate coming out of the hole. This pressure gauge is recommended on high performance applications when the motor is raised to extreme heights. This allow for constant monitoring of the cooling system.
Purchase a gauge for your safety and convenience. You can visit our different gauges here: http://www.magemarinestore.com/japlandtitru.html .
